CACEE’s offerings to its professional community include micro-credential and certificate programs, regional PD events, community of practice roundtable discussions, virtual workshops and webinars, networking opportunities and social events, research and advocacy initiatives, access to other national and international associations, and a national conference.
For over 20 years, Redwood Performance Group has been a cutting-edge, responsive, full-service learning design and development organization. We’ve built thousands of interactive courses on every subject and sector imaginable. Our learning initiatives include compliance, orientation, onboarding, and hard and soft skills. We have recently focused on designing and producing cutting-edge human skills training.
About CareerForce
A few years ago, Redwood partnered with Toronto Finance International, a former public/private sector partnership focused on bringing human skills training to the financial sector. The objective was to address the need for workplace-critical human skills training through an eLearning simulation.
It was a chance to rethink everything we had learned about how people work together in organizations. The result was an innovative series of interactive learning modules. Since its release, the program has won rave reviews for its unique content and ability to engage learners.
But that was just the start. Over the past two years, Redwood has committed significant resources to refine the program – to make it more interactive, robust, and customizable. While built initially for new grads, we quickly realized that people in any organization would benefit from human skills training. So, we completely redesigned the course to ensure it was a robust learning simulation for people at any stage of their careers. CACEE, with its significant connections to educators and employers, is the perfect partner to take it to the next step.
Human Skills Drive Productivity and Are Key to Meeting Canada’s Economic Challenges
Human skills are essential to productivity. These skills foster workforce creativity, problem-solving, and adaptability. Strong communication, collaboration, and emotional intelligence enable teams to work efficiently and innovate in dynamic environments. By investing in developing these workplace-critical skills, organizations can enhance employee performance, improve job satisfaction, and drive long-term productivity growth.
CareerForce Features Three Levels of Human Skills Training
Tier 1: Associate
The simulation begins in a typical entry-level role, where learners focus on building communication, data acumen, and resiliency skills.
Tier 2: Team Member
Learners are promoted to a team member role, focusing on problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Tier 3: New Manager
Learners progress to a new manager role, where they establish leadership skills, learn budget basics, engage direct reports, and have difficult conversations.
On-Demand Training with Built-In Support
CareerForce is a deep simulation designed to help learners master the material on their own time and at their own pace. Features like self-guided navigation, step-by-step assistance, and automated learning paths ensure minimal draw on administrative resources. Should the need for support arise, Redwood is always available to offer expert help.
I’ll leave the last word to Trevor Buttrum, Executive Director, Canadian Association of Career Educators and Employers (CACEE):
“CareerForce is a platform that nurtures the development of these skills through a challenging, cost-conscious, and engaging simulation. It’s a fast and effective way for students, new graduates, and professionals to hone these skills, establish their professional brand, and add value from day one on the job!”
